In Core Keeper, your avatar is dropped into a mysterious dark cavern. You find yourself in a room with a powered-down core, connected to three statues that seem to require gemstones to run. What now? Essentially, you dig your way out from the center to find food, supplies, and enemies to battle. It’s sort of like the graphics of Stardew Valley with the gameplay of Minecraft.

Buffs/Debuffs: All of your buffs and debuffs will be shown below the Hunger bar. You can put your mouse over a buff or debuff to see what it does.
Copper Ore is mined from The Undergrounds' walls that sparkle in the darkness. Plenty of wood is also required, from exploration and/or farming roots.
After your payment has been processed, the content will be downloaded to the applicable system linked to your Nintendo Account. It’s a familiar cadence: use resources to beef up your base, craft items that help you explore further, gear up for the boss fight, make secondary bases, and improve the return routes to key areas. As the paths you’ve created grow more convoluted, you can rely on your map, which you’re able to pull out as an overlay.
Killing Glurch spawns a chest with a few random items and a crystal. Take all of the items (and the chest!), then put the crystal in Glurch's statue near the Core. This will partially power the Core and open up a few new crafting recipes at the Glurch statue.
But soon that narrow tunnel is lit with torches, side chambers have been found and dim light spills in from all sides, and I'm scampering back and forth through those passages like they're just another cheery, familiar road leading back home.
Using your Pickaxe, break up the wood logs surrounding the Core. Craft a couple of basic Chests from your inventory and place them so you can store excess items. Then craft a Basic Workbench and interact with it.
